Gaia – Azores Iceland Geothermal Programme

One of the aims of the Programme under the Renewable Energy Area called “Gaia – Azores Iceland Geothermal Programme” is to increase the scientific and technological capacity of the Azores in the field of geothermal energy. Under this objective, it supports participation in courses on geothermal energy, in particular, supports the participation in “Short Courses ” and “6 Month Courses.”

The courses are lectured by the United Nations University Geothermal Training Programme (UNU-GTP), Iceland that has a dedicated Programme to geothermal.

Through calls were selected a wide range of technical and students who will participate in Iceland and in Azores.
